Unseen Tours Going Global!

Who would have thought that a year ago something that started as an idea amongst a group of friends (homeless and homed) would have had such an impact on a global scale?

Well, us of course! Over the past year we’ve had some amazing encouragement and interest from individuals and groups around the world… and now the concept of unique city walking tours led by homeless guides is to be rolled out internationally. The Ditto Foundation in Poland and Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) in Melbourne are kicking things off, with others gearing up to take on the challenge in places such as Chicago, Toronto, Austria, Dublin and Belfast. One of our dreams here at Unseen Tours is that in the future this kind of shift in relating to marginalised groups – where people from very different walks of life come together, stigma free, to share time and experiences – becomes completely normalised through ventures such as walking tours. It is our dream that these marginalised groups can find a voice, create a platform for their stories and truly enjoy the empowerment that goes along with it. Here’s to many more collaborations and to forming a worldwide community that can really galvanise social change!
