Covent Garden may be known for its bustling markets and crowd pleasing street performers… but did you know that it was once a red light district? Hm, no wonder Charles Dickens used to hang around it so much. It’s also home to the world’s most haunted theatre! Surprised? Want to find out more? Then come along to our Covent Garden Unseen Tour and learn more about this tourist area’s once seedy past and how it ties into the lives of those living on its streets today.

The Covent Garden tour lasts about 1 hour 45 minutes. At the end of each tour, your guide will point you to a historical local pub or cosy cafe where you can continue to enjoy London… why not ask the guide to join you?

The Covent Garden tour happens every Friday through to Sunday, starting at 7pm on Fri (Please note Friday evenings are bookings only) and 3pm Sat/Sun. We meet right outside the Temple Tube Station – look out for our homemade cardboard sign!

Tickets cost £10 or £7 for students. Click here to book online…or be spontaneous and just turn up at the meeting point on Saturday and Sunday!

And remember that we also do flexible bookings for groups of five people or more at any other time Monday – Friday, perfect for team-building awaydays, school outings or just a group of friends looking for an unusual, fun day out! Email walk@sockmobevents.org.uk or call 07514 266 774/5 to reserve.

We also provide two free places per tour for people who are unable to pay and/or are accompanying someone as a carer. Please call the number above to arrange, and feel free to give us a ring if you have any questions about the tours or trouble finding us.
