Exclusive domain where the rich and famous come to play? Think again! The Mayfair Unseen Tour is led by formerly homeless guides who’ll offer you keen insights into both crime and decadence in one of London’s most affluent areas, which is also home to the homeless. We’ll take in celebrity haunts such as Shepherds Market and The Dorchester as well as more alternative sites such as squats, located side by side with some of the most expensive properties in the world. Your guides will regale you with stories of the infamous exploits of the area’s more colourful inhabitants whilst weaving in their own experiences of life on the streets of opulent Mayfair.
At the end of each tour, your guide will point you to a historical local pub or cosy cafe where you can continue to enjoy London… why not ask the guide to join you?
The Mayfair tour happens every Friday through to Sunday, starting at 7pm on Fri and 3pm Sat/Sun. We meet outside Green Park tube on Stratton Street, just follow the signs for the north of Piccadilly Street and look for the Stratton Street exit – look out for our homemade cardboard sign!
