London Bridge Tour – Mysterious Alleys, Hidden Pathways

Join David on his fascinating tour following the artery of the Thames from this famous landmark, along South Bank and veering off into Borough’s more mysterious alleys that also contain powerful symbols of the outcast and social justice. Along the route, you will see the world’s greatest food market, Southwark Cathedral, the infamous Clink prison and a secret archaeological dig before ending up at one of the city’s oldest pubs.

  • Discover hidden areas and lesser known streets around London Bridge
  • Learn about the area’s history of social exclusion and injustice
  • Visit the poignant resting place for the areas poor and excluded
  • Southwark Cathedral
  • Original site of the Globe Theatre and it’s current incarnation
  • A tranquil historical garden in the midst of the city

Meeting point: At the corner of Joiner Street and Tooley Street at London Bridge Station SE1. There’s a waiting area outside the entrance to the overground and we’ll be here!

For group bookings of 5 people or more, please complete the Group Booking Form and we can arrange a private tour at a time of your choosing.

“We learnt a lot about the area, past and present, from our guide David on a very enjoyable tour. A huge amount of info packed into an hour and a half. Thanks very much!”  TripAdvisor May 2018
